Anatomy and Physiology is the study of the structure and function of the human body.
After successful completion of this course students will be at a proficient level to understand and
utilize concepts from the following areas:
• Levels of organization (chemical basis of life, cells and tissues)
• Integumentary system
• Skeletal system
• Muscular system
• Nervous system
• Cardiovascular system
• Lymphatic system
• Digestive system
• Urinary system
• Reproductive system
The student is expected to utilize correct scientific methodology with supporting laboratory
techniques and procedures.
